Born in Surinam, Soenil Bahadoer grew up within a traditional Hindu family. Jointly preparing the family meals was one of the most important daily activities. It's also where he discovered his enthusiasm for cooking. At school, his talent soon stood out. Soenil had his own eclectic way of interpreting recipes. Creativity combined with a thorough understanding of basics was Soenil's personal recipe for his future seccess as chef.

Careers

As young Hindu striving to fulfil his dream, Soenil experienced that chances are few and far between. That's why he firmly believes in offering second-generation immigrants traineeships in his restaurant.
